This year's directory of practising counsellors

Members will have received a copy of the new Sussex Counselling Directory of Qualified Counsellors 2009-2010. Five thousand copies have been published and are ready for distribution by you.

Over 1,000 directories have already been mailed to GPs and public libraries all over Sussex but we rely on members to spread them further afield and in larger numbers.

Please offer to help take them around your area - especially if you are one of those listed - even if it is to only one place where you think people might pick them up or find them useful – health centres, doctors’ surgeries, community centres, libraries, workplace staff rooms, dentists or opticians waiting rooms, youth centres, advice centres.  It would be useful to give copies to staff welfare officers, school pastoral staff or headteachers, lawyers, funeral directors, social workers, probation officers  – anybody who will be in touch with sections of the public who might be looking for a counsellor.
