  We work with children, young people and families throughout Brighton & Hove and across Sussex.  Our counsellors practice in primary & secondary schools, 6th form colleges and in community settings.

Placements are available in secondary schools working with 11-16 year olds and in community locations working with 13-25 year olds.  The clinical placement scheme is open to qualified counsellors and counsellors in training who have completed a minimum of 1 year of a counselling diploma (or equivalent qualification) and 25 hours of personal therapy.

Applications accepted at any time: interviews when vacancies occur. The placement would be suitable for a 2nd year trainee working from a psychodynamic model.
Supervision is provided. The trainee would engage in counselling with women around issues to do with sexual health such as sexual abuse, pregnancy etc. This is time limited up to 40 sessions.
